What’s your favorite ad of Super Bowl LII?

What’s your favorite ad of Super Bowl LII?

Feb 01, 2018 - John Paff Advertising

This weekend, men and women across America will gather with friends to watch the greatest competition on television. And there’s a football game on, too.

Each year, the Super Bowl provides an extraordinary opportunity for brands to capture the attention of consumers nationwide. With 30-second spots costing an average of $5 million, advertisers take significant risks to reach their audience. The stakes are high, but a win at the Super Bowl is just as important for brands as it is for the football teams.

Moving Clients to Action

Moving Clients to Action

In the office, I’m known as the cat lady.

I have two kittens at home that I love dearly. However, they often become a challenge when they rest on me and I need to move. Anyone reading this who has a pet, I’m sure you can relate.

You Cannot Lead from Your Desk

In his book, The Art of Client Service, Robert Solomon titles a chapter "You Cannot Lead an Account from Your Desk." There is so much truth in that simple statement. We have an incredible amount of technology that helps keep our account work organized, on-time, within budget, and notified of the real-time status of all the work the creative department is churning out.

Are you a social-media hedgehog?

Dec 12, 2017 - John Paff Social Media

Too many people take a "hedgehog approach" to social-media marketing. They throw a lot of things out there to see what sticks.

That's not a long-term strategy for success. “Know your audience” is the first rule of brand storytelling. It’s vital to understand the interests, expectations, wants, and needs of your target audience.

Work in the Wild

Work in the Wild

Aug 01, 2017 - Logo & Identity

We always enjoy stumbling across work we do 'in the wild,' or actually in its natural environment instead of an iMac screen in our office.

One of our clients, Seacor Holdings Inc., is based out of Fort Lauderdale, so we rarely (never) get the chance to see logo work we produce for them in use. We do get some great photos from the client from time to time, however. Here’s a photo of a liftboat that bears a logo we did for Falcon Global, a joint venture they are involved in with Montco Offshore. Liftboats support construction, maintenance, and various other tasks in support of offshore projects around the globe. The logo we created is front and center of the 300’ long vessel as is sets to depart it’s port of origin of Vũng Tàu, Vietnam, just southeast of Ho Chi Minh City.
