Beyond recognizable logos and memorable taglines, successful brands also have a unique voice. It’s a recognizable tone and personality that is intrinsic to the brand itself. In fact, the voice of a brand has been called the “heart and soul” of communication. Think of Apple’s smart and cool attitude or Coca-Cola’s welcoming persona.
This summer, one of the top brands in digital marketing changed its name and replaced its logo. Google AdWords became Google Ads.
From the medals, fashion, equipment, architecture to how countries brand themselves. The opening ceremonies alone are a celebration of color and design reflected through the athletes we cheer on to victory. One of our clients, Seacor Holdings Inc., is based out of Fort Lauderdale, so we rarely (never) get the chance to see logo work we produce for them in use. We do get some great photos from the client from time to time, however. Here’s a photo of a liftboat that bears a logo we did for Falcon Global, a joint venture they are involved in with Montco Offshore. Liftboats support construction, maintenance, and various other tasks in support of offshore projects around the globe. The logo we created is front and center of the 300’ long vessel as is sets to depart it’s port of origin of Vũng Tàu, Vietnam, just southeast of Ho Chi Minh City.
